with David Brown & Daniel Fodorean
Listen to What the YRM Leader Shares About the Initiative
What Past Participants Say About the Mentoring
”The curriculum was very well designed and with quality content. We as participants also learned from each other. Answering questions after reading material is a very good exercise that prompts the application of the knowledge gained. I already applied a lot of things at our church. One of the most important for me personally was not just to be aware of the mindset of the people we are trying to reach but to get to know it very well. Importance of mission/vision-driven church activities but at the same time being connected with the Lord in prayer.”
Dragan Radanovic, pastor in Novi Sad, Serbia
It is so important to help traditional churches to open to God's fresh leading and power. It gave me many new ideas about how to do it and more importantly it encouraged me to think in a new way about the church and trust God in His unlimited possibilities to make changes. What I learned here now I teach in my elders' group and we are getting ready for a new vision for our church.
Jan Lukl, pastor of two churches in the Czech Republic
Programme Overview
GOAL
To help participants understand the issues raised in giving a new dynamic to existing churches, to think through what the concept of revitalisation could look like in the European context, and to share experiences in order to encourage one another.
PARTICIPANTS
Ten to twelve people who are willing to commit to become part of a learning community.
QUALIFICATIONS
The expectation is that the participants be involved in, or potentially involved in, church revitalisation. This would probably be as a denominational leader or local pastor, but at least in a situation where the ideas raised can be applied in the ministry of the participants.
