Year-Round Mentoring Group Principles Of Biblical Leadership

with Stephen Giere

Programme Overview

Goal

The goal of the biblical leader is to influence meaningful kingdom impact for God’s glory. This work of the Holy Spirit is accomplished through loving God, loving people, and serving both. We will study seven principles of biblical leadership that flow from these three biblical mandates, and discuss specific ways in which we may apply them in our respective leadership roles. Further, we will study the life of King David and observe how he applied these principles.

Participants

Ten to twelve ministry and/or organization leaders who seek to grow in seven principles of biblical leadership: (1) The biblical leader puts God first before all things, (2) places his/her identity fully in Christ, (3) abides in Christ to bear spiritual fruit, (4) operates from a kingdom worldview, (5) influences others to become more Christ-like, (6) has a working understanding of purpose, (7) has a clear sense of calling.

Qualifications

Participants are devoted followers of Jesus Christ, have experience leading in a ministry or organization, and possess a desire to have greater kingdom impact in their family, church, work, and community.
