Year-Round Mentoring Group for Youth Ministry Leaders

Programme Overview 

Goal: To provide youth ministry leaders a year-round forum to facilitate mentoring, training, and development needs.

Participants: Five to twelve Christian youth ministry leaders with at least 2 years of youth ministry leadership experience who are willing to commit to becoming part of a learning community

Qualifications: Each participant should be actively involved in youth ministry, preferably leading a youth ministry team, and be a spiritually mature Christian.

Plan:

  • Pre-Forum Seminar at the 2025 Forum in Wisła, Poland on 17 May (14:00-17:30 CEST)

  • Four two-hour webinars with webinar assignments

  • Three-day Retreat on 2-4 December 2025 in Budapest, Hungary

  • Pre-Forum Conference at the 2026 Forum (Friday, 15 May, dinner together – Saturday, 16 May, morning). Participants will still need to apply for the European Leadership Forum and will be responsible for paying Forum fees in order to participate in the 2026 Forum. Participants must also pay for their own travel expenses.

YRM Leader

Paul Bowman has 30 years of experience in full-time youth ministry in the local church. He has served in a variety of settings throughout Ireland – both urban and rural – working with churched and unchurched young people.  He is passionate about developing disciple making Youth Ministry.  Paul serves with Josiah Venture UK and is committed to training and equipping the next generation of youth leaders.  He lives with his wife Val and their three children in Saintfield, Northern Ireland.  He holds a BSc Hons in Community Youth Work and a Masters in Transformational Leadership.
